The IL4622E and IL4685E are high-speed, fully-isolated, differential bus transceivers with integrated 3.3-to-3.3 V, one-quarter watt DC-DC convertors to provide a fullyisolated 3.3 V bus supply using the controller (UART) supply. This level of integration dramatically reduces chip count and board area. The IL4622E has full-duplex connections for RS-422 busses; the IL4685E has a half-duplex transceiver generally used with RS-485.
