2-cell 2A Boost charger with NVDC power path and integrated cell balancing

The MP2672A is a Boost Charger for 2-cell Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries, with an NVDC system power path and integrated cell balancing. It offers both standalone mode and host-control mode (I2C).
It provides up to 14V of sustainable voltage, and up to 2A of programmable charge current for batteries with two cells in series. Robust protections include battery temperature monitoring, programmable charging safety timer protection, JEITA-compliant battery NTC monitoring, cell over-voltage protection (OVP), thermal regulation, and thermal shutdown. The device is available in a QFN-18 (2mmx3mm) package, and is designed for portable handheld solutions, point-of-sale (POS) machines, gimbals, Bluetooth speakers, e-cigarettes, and general 2-cell applications.
