Smoke Detector Flash MCU with Power Line Transceiver

The BA45F25543 includes non-polarised input ports, an integrated fire protection dual-line bus which uses both voltage and current modulation for data reception and transmission, a dual-channel smoke detector AFE as well as an IR LED driving circuit. These integrated features allow the device to be used in bus type smoke detectors.

The device contains a 4K×16 Flash Program Memory, a 256×8 Data Memory and a 64×8 EEPROM. Regarding peripheral features, the device also includes a 10-bit PTM, a 10-bit STM, a multi-channel 12-bit A/D converter and SPI/I²C/UART communication interfaces. The integrated ±42V non-polar input port does not require external bridge rectifier components and neither does it require voltage reception and current transmission circuits which are commonly required in fire protection bus systems.
