NYWQ5 buck/boost converter is provided with encapsulated quarter brick package for full environment protection. It is designed with full protection features against excessive voltage, current, and temperature; with the ultra-high conversion efficiency of 96%. The NYWQ5 converter is ideally suited for use in communications, industrial, test and measurement, high-reliability and various levels of battery charging applications.
NYWQ5 has optional active current share feature to allow parallel operation of multiple converters. The output current limit is adjustable for battery charging applications. The output voltage is set to 0V at the factory and it can be programmed to any voltage between 0V and 60V by PMBus programming or external resistor/voltage programming.
