Silvertel’s Ag210 is an IEEE802.3bt compliant PD module that is designed to combine high power LED lighting applications with PoE connectivity, ideal for intelligent lighting fixtures. Conforming to the latest IEEE802.3bt Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) standard the module provides an easily implemented solution for designers of LED lighting systems. The Ag210 is pre-configured as a Type 3 Class 6 PD device and capable of extracting a minimum of 40W from the PSE, providing a 30W constant current LED output. The Ag210 can power an LED string voltage up to 40V whilst also providing a separate 5V auxiliary output with which to power an external microprocessor. The LED driver incorporates a flicker free dimming controlled by 1-10V dimming or I2C interface.
