Flexible Configuration
The PXES-2314T provides four PXI Express hybrid slots that support the latest generation of measurement modules based on PCIe Gen3 x4 (PXI-5). All slots are backward-compatible with PXI and CompactPCI eliminating costly replacement of legacy measurement modules. In addition, the PXES-2314T provides a trigger IO port for synchronization.
Portability
The Thunderbolt connector is an evolution for the ease of test system connectivity. A typical PXI bridge setup requires a desktop expansion card, chassis module, and connecting cable, severely limiting portability. Thunderbolt is both relatively common on notebook computers and provides sufficient speed to replace the older three-part system setup
High Availability and Quality Design
The PXES-2314T backplane has high precision synchronization functions for PXI Express instrumentation signals crucial for multiple PXIe/PXI module T&M applications. The onboard power circuit delivers a maximum of 160 W from DC input to all power rails and USB power delivery. Up to 58 W per slot cooling capacity provides abundant ventilation for high power peripheral modules. Built-in chassis monitoring and smart fan ensure operation stability with dynamically optimized sound levels based on environmental temperature.
