New Holtek Bluetooth 5.2 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) controller, the BC7701, is now certified by BQB, the Bluetooth Qualification Body. The BC7701 has excellent RF characteristics, low-power consumption and supports up to a 2Mbps data rate. The device is suitable for use in a wide range of BLE products such as health care products, home appliances, smart device information beacons, human interface device service products etc.
The BC7701 includes a fully integrated high performance RF and Modulator-Demodulator - MODEM. The device also contains a DC-DC converter and LDO, which can support a wide range of single input power supplies. The receiver supports more than 70dB of automatic gain control with a sensitivity of up to -94dBm. It has a low-power consumption transmitter and receiver and provides a range of low-power modes such as Deep Sleep mode and Power Down mode.
The BC7701 is supplied in a 32-pin QFN package type, which has a size of 4mm×4mm×0.55mm. The BC7701 can support BLE services conveniently through its UART interface and is therefore an excellent choice for BLE solutions.
