The ASM/BSM400 is the highest powered, open frame, Class I or II, Class B EMC, CF power supply on the market. These compact open-frame power supplies function within an input voltage range of 90 to 264 VAC, delivering up to 400 Watts of regulated DC output power. They include 2 MOPP isolation and BF or CF leakage current depending on the selected model. Certified to the latest IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition medical safety standard via the CB reporting scheme, they also adhere to the 60601-1-2 EMC collateral standard. The product label displays UL Recognized component marks for North America and the EU, along with the CE mark.
The ASM/BSM400 has select voltages that will meet CF Class B Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards, they include 12 V, 15 V, 19.6 V, 24 V, 28 V, and 36 V. Additionally, models with voltages of 48 V and 54 V will also meet CF Patient Leakage, but only to Class A EMC standards.
The ASM400S provides 400 Watts of forced air cooling and 200 Watts of natural convection cooling, ensuring versatile performance across different cooling environments. The power supplies feature a single output with a 5V auxiliary output and a 12V fan output, offering a range of voltages from 12V to 54V to meet various application needs. They boast high efficiency, achieving up to 92% efficiency at 230Vac, which helps in reducing energy consumption and operational costs. Additionally, the high power density of up to 19W per cubic inch ensures that these power supplies deliver substantial power in a compact form factor. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +40°C at full load, with derating required at higher temperatures, ensuring reliable performance in diverse environmental conditions.
