MultiTech announces the availability of the new SocketModem Cell 4G-LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT/2G global capable embedded cellular modem.
This new model supports 14 LTE bands (4G Cat M1/NB-IoT) and 4GSM bands (2G EGPRS) and includes an integrated GNSS receiver. Up untill now LTE solutions were very regional specific meaning many unique SKUs were required for global deployments. Customers can now standardize on one SKU wich greatly simplifies supply chain management.
The new global capable SocketModem Cell is currently certified for use in North America, europe and Australia.
